"Society for the Promotion of Women and Child Welfare, SPOWAC as commonly known in the Social Welfare circles has completed Twenty Six long years of dedicated service in the welfare and developmental sector." During these Twenty Six years SPOWAC has been progressing steadily and has been implementing the various welfare schemes for the benefit of the vulnerable section of the society. As a National Body, SPOWAC can now boast of a Pan India presence. SPOWAC has a team of dedicated and devoted board, professionals who have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. The collective experience of the members of the Board is an asset which we cherish.SPOWAC and its members have received several Awards and Accolades.

MISSION

Create awareness by concerted efforts, to empower the vulnerable sections through education/skill development to enable them to realize their true potential and self-esteem, and to work together towards eradicating deep-rooted social evils.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Provide overall welfare, for vulnerable sections of society, especially women and children. Set up, establish, maintain, and operate on a sustainable basis, institutions to provide such welfare and services. Revive the rich traditional arts and crafts of our land, promote and create opportunities for Indian classical dance & music traditions at performing levels. Tackle issues related to the environment such as Pollution, Water, Waste- Management, and Sanitation which have a direct impact on our health.
